Okay, so everyone knows that I have been doing my weekly chalkboard posts on Facebook showing off the baby bump.  I figured I would start blogging with them to let everyone know what has been going on.

Pre- pregnancy, all mothers constantly told me that there is no feeling in the world like motherhood.  I always agreed and knew that the saying was true, but I never knew just what they meant.  I'm sure I won't fully understand until the day she arrives, but I can definitely already tell what a strong connection it must be.  I already feel such love for her and I've never laid eyes on her.  It's amazing how your perspective on life changes.  I absolutely cannot wait to meet her.  I feel so blessed that God has created this being inside of me, and that in itself is all I need in life.

So, as you can tell, the bump is still growing! I'm not sure if it can still qualify as a bump, more of a belly these days.
-I have noticed in the past few days that my appetite has really picked up! I can eat and literally 10 minutes later...I'm hungry again.
-I have been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark cream constantly! I am determined to try to avoid stretch marks even if it means I smell like a Tootsie Roll!
-I haven't felt any movement yet, but I've read that it could be 20 weeks or so until that begins.  I know she is moving though, because everytime we go to the doctor, she is moving and dancing around constantly. Surely, her dance moves come from her Mommy :)
-As far as nausea and sickness, most of you know that I was very blessed and did not have any at all in my first trimester.  So far, the second trimester has been great.  I have had a few gagging episodes, usually because of some smell that no one else can smell but me.  Brushing my teeth in the mornings has been an awful task since the beginning, some mornings are worse than others.  This morning I was eating oatmeal, which I eat every morning and all of a sudden it was disgusting to me.  After a ridiculous gagging episode, I gave up and threw the oatmeal away.
-I have had very few cravings.  I had the spaghetti-o's stage...it didn't last long, I remembered why I hated them when I was little.  Now it seems to be tomato sandwiches, fruit, and boiled eggs.  When I say boiled eggs, I mean any way I can get them...egg salad, deviled eggs, easter eggs, tuna salad...I have been begging my Mama to either give me the recipe for her potato salad or make me a huge bowl because there are boiled eggs in it.

Well, enough ramblings for today.  We ordered the nursery bedding and it's expected to come in later this week, so hopefully I will have a post with pictures so you all can see :)
