19 WEEKS!!!
Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't post earlier this week, I have just been so busy and haven't had a chance to post.
- So, this week is the 19 week mark! Only one more week, and we'll be halfway there! We get to go Friday for our "20 week" ultrasound and we can't wait!!! So excited to see Addison wiggling around :)
- As you can see, we have picked out a name! We both loved the name Addison and it seemed absolutely perfect for our little angel!
- I still haven't felt any wiggles and movement yet. Hopefully by next week I will be feeling her move. I've been trying all kinds of techniques to see if I could feel her, but nothing yet.
- I can honestly say that I haven't been having many cravings...I do however always want to eat, but nothing in particular. There are foods that I DON'T want. Moe's burritos are not on my list of favorites right now. Which is odd because I usually love them.
- Sleep is getting better. I don't toss and turn as much. I don't get tired as easily during the day either which is a plus.
- My belly button is of course still in, but it is pretty shallow! I've never been able to see the back of my belly button before, so it's so funny seeing it! lol!
- I haven't had much swelling, only in my fingers from time to time. I'm trying to be smart with my salt intake. I LOVE salt and I am really trying to watch it! But every now and again, I give in.
- As far as my mood goes... I feel like I am usually in a good mood. I don't feel like I've been mean or crabby. (you can ask Ryan). I will say that I was very emotional Sunday. I would cry about anything. Ryan probably though I had lost my mind.
I went camping in Hilton Head with my parents this weekend. The first thing we did was visit the outlets! My mama and I definitely took advantage of the baby outlet stores. We racked up on a few outfits. I did try to shop more for 6-9 months this time. I have been buying newborn and 3 months. But between me and mama, we got her a few spring outfits :)
- Ryan has been working so hard in the nursery. He has been painting, putting the crib together, and hanging curtains. This past weekend while I was out of town, he moved the dresser in and hung the wall letters (with the help of friends and family). I came home to see that he had done so much! He has done such a great job for his little girl. She has him wrapped around her finger already! I wanted to share some pictures of all his hard work!
Thank you again, Ryan for all of your hard work! You are such a wonderful husband and I know you are going to be an awesome Daddy! I love you!!!!
I am going to attempt to make tissue paper poms for the corner where the glider will go. I will make a post and let ya'll know how it goes! The tutorials look so easy, but we will see...
